Membership Terms of Use

The Rent Games Online service and the RentGamesOnline.co.uk Web site are operated and owned by RGO Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “RGO”,”we” or “us”).

1. Subscription is available to UK residents aged 18 or over. By subscribing, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over, and resident in the UK.

2. The subscriber will respect the games and associated packaging in his / her possession and undertakes not to make any illegal copies of the games. RGO reserves the right to debit the subscribers' account for monies amounting to the full recommended retail price of the game if it is returned in an unreasonable condition (reasonable wear and tear excepted). RGO will contact the subscriber to discuss this before debiting any monies.

3. Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time. To cancel their subscription, members can use the "Cancel Membership" option available on the "Your Account" page. The subscriber must return all games in their possession before a cancellation will be actioned. Membership will continue as normal if games remain in the possession of the member. Refunds will not be given for cancellations part way through the billing period.

4. All games remain the property of RGO at all times. Games MUST NOT be sold on or made available to users other than the member.

5. The member indemnifies RGO for any delays related to the shipping of games (inbound and outbound), including delays in the post due to Bank Holidays, external events and members that add or allow a limited amount of released games (under 16) to populate their Rental Queue.

6. RGO reserve the right, at any time, to cancel the subscription of any subscriber, for any reason.

7. If a game sent out by RGO is lost in the post, a replacement game (either the same title or another choice of the Member) will be sent. If the lost game is not recovered within approximately 10 days, RGO reserves the right to cancel a member's account and bill the members credit/debit card the recommended retail price of all outstanding games on the members account.

8. The subscriber may choose to cancel their subscription to Rent Games Online for a full refund of their first month's subscription fee provided no games have been dispatched to the member and the member has more than 15 games on supported consoles in his/her queue. Members can monitor which games have been dispatched by visiting their Rental Queue page and clicking on the link 'Rental History' (top left). By law, members are entitled to withdraw from the purchase of a service within seven working days after the date the service contract was established. However, if the performance of the contract begins before this seven day period ends, then the right of refund ends. RGO will process your subscription and will normally begin performance of the service (which starts with assigning your first game(s) to your Rental Queue for dispatch provided the titles you choose have been released in the UK) very soon there after, usually well within the seven working day period described above.

9. Shipping of all goods is to the UK only.

10. RGO reserves the right to change the Membership Terms of Use from time to time at its sole discretion.
